I was that pretentious fan that liked them since Revenge and hated the Black Parade. When Danger Days came out, I was happy, but still though that the old MCR was better. I thought that, like so many of you, the guys had lost touch with their fans and were big shot assholes now. My best friend and I saw them last April, and actually won Meet and Greets from the radio station. When I walked into the room and saw the four guys standing there, my heart stopped. When I looked into Gerard’s eyes, shook his hand, and told him ‘Thank you, thank you so much’ he said ‘Aw, no. Thank you! Really, thank you..’ He was so GENUINE and so REAL and I felt so comfortable around him, like I was meeting an old friend. He may have bright red hair and lost 30lbs, but he’s still the same old Gerard. I couldn’t be happier about it.
